This is a great review. I just received mine over the weekend and downloaded imp files from blackmask onto my card directly.
Two things. First, about 128 mb smartcard media. Apparently, it only adds 15 books at a time so you need to turn the device on and off several times to have all the books added (if you are adding more than 15). That is an issue if you are switching cards. (You would need to turn it on/off several times every time you switched.
I don't think it recognizes rb natively. I could not get it to do it. I haven't tried the converter program though. Anyway, thanks for the review. And what's the deal with that greenish screens in your photos?
Initially I was disappointed with the size of the device (expected it to be a little bigger) and the quality of the font. However, I agree with you. It's very easy to read over long periods of time, and the device itself is just elegantly designed. I just want to hold it. Robert Nagle idiotprogrammer
